1.  Membaca surah (Yaa Siin) untuk orang yang  sakaratul maut

2.  Menghadapkan orang yang sakaratul maut ke kiblat

3.  Memasukkan kapas di pantat mayyit, tenggorokan serta hidungnya

4.  Keluarga mayyit tidak makan sampai mereka selesai menguburkan

5.  Mereka memanjangkan jenggot sebagai tanda sedih terhadap mayyit, kemudian dicukur lagi

6.  Mengumumkan berita kematian lewat menara-menara

7.  Mereka membaca saat seorang memberitakan kematian : Al-Fatihah ‘ala ruuh….
