Beberapa Kesalahan Yang bertentangan dengan Syariat
Banyak orang awam, terlebih lagi yang membesar-besarkan para Syaikh, melakukan banyak kesalahan yang bertentangan dengan syari’at, khususnya yang menyangkut jenazah dan hukum-hukum pelaksanaannya (sebagian sudah disebutkan). Mereka menyangka hal itu bersumber dari agama Islam, padahal tidak, karena bertentangan
dengan sunnah Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam atau karena memang tidak ada dalilnya atau karena berasal dari adat kebiasaan orang-orang kafir, atau tidak sah dalilnya, yang mana semua sebab tadi tidak samar bagi orang yang menuntut ilmu dan konsekwen, diantaranya
1. Membaca surah (Yaa Siin) untuk orang yang sakaratul maut
2. Menghadapkan orang yang sakaratul maut ke kiblat
3. Memasukkan kapas di pantat mayyit, tenggorokan serta hidungnya
4. Keluarga mayyit tidak makan sampai mereka selesai menguburkan
5. Mereka memanjangkan jenggot sebagai tanda sedih terhadap mayyit, kemudian dicukur lagi
6. Mengumumkan berita kematian lewat menara-menara
7. Mereka membaca saat seorang memberitakan kematian : Al-Fatihah ‘ala ruuh….
8. Yang memandikan mayat membaca bacaan tertentu saat membasuh setiap anggota tubuh mayat
9. Mengeraskan dzikir saat memandikan mayat atau saat mengantar jenazah
10. Menghias jenazah
11. Meletakkan selendang di atas keranda
12. Keyakinan bahwa jika mayat baik maka jenazahnya ringan dibawa, sebaliknya jika jahat maka jenazahnya berat
13. Pelan-pelan dalam membawa jenazah
14. Mengangkat suara saat menghadiri jenazah, atau sibuk bercanda dengan orang lain
15. Memuji-muji jenazah saat menghadirinya di masjid sebelum di shalati atau sesudahnya, begitu pula sebelum dan menjelang pemakaman
16. Kebiasaan membawa jenazah dengan memakai mobil, serta mengantar dengan memakai mobil
17. Shalat ghaib, padahal sudah diketahui bahwa sudah dishalati di tempat meninggalnya
18. Imam berdiri lurus pada posisi tengah mayat laki-laki, atau posisi lurus dengan dada mayat wanita
